In 2014, Esther co-founded Billowby, an online-only retailer of smoking accessories. Her creative visual direction formed the cornerstone of the brand and sparked many look-a-like competitors. At Billowby, She managed the continuity of the brand including art direction, digital marketing, customer experience protocols, and company hiring.
In 2017, Esther began consulting in the recreational cannabis space helping companies modernize their brands in preparation for California's 2018 legalization.
Prior to 2014, Esther was an early employee of online fashion startup Everlane. She managed the technical design and production of the accessory line which would eventually amount to 85% of Everlane's yearly revenue.
Esther's work has been seen on Vanity Fair, Forbes, Buzzfeed, Fast Company, Goop, Cool Hunting, Tech Crunch and many other MMJ-centric publications.
